Banks can be scared of lending to a church. Find out about other options. i.e. if you build a church that can be sold for other purposes i.e., commercial centre, child care, factory, office, conference centre. This means that the building is not rated as 'special purposes only' but as a 'commercial' and increases the bank options from whom you can borrow.
