Not-for-profit organisations often purchase family size sedans due to the higher relative discounts and therefore better resale value compared with smaller vehicles. This is largely a sound decision, particularly for those doing high kilometres and changing over regularly. However many organisations have a need for small vehicles but forgo this due to pricing structures and uncertainty in whole of life cost.
